Del Taco brings the authentic flavors of Michoacán, Mexico, to its menu with the nationwide debut of new Slow-Cooked Pork Carnitas, available at participating locations.
Simmered in bold spices and topped with the brand’s new Roasted Salsa Roja, which is crafted with a combination of fire-roasted tomatillos and smoky chipotle peppers, Slow-Cooked Pork Carnitas in a variety of menu items, including:
- Carnitas Combo Burrito: Tender, slow-cooked shredded pork carnitas paired with grated cheddar cheese, slow-cooked beans, and roasted salsa roja, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.
- Carnitas Street Tacos (3-piece): Tender, slow-cooked shredded pork carnitas, topped with diced onions, chopped cilantro, and roasted salsa roja, all wrapped in warm corn tortillas.
- Carnitas Quesadilla: Tender, slow-cooked shredded pork carnitas, grated cheddar cheese, and roasted salsa roja, all folded in a flour tortilla and flat-grilled to perfection.
- Carnitas Loaded Fries: Crinkle Cut Fries topped with shredded pork carnitas, grated cheddar cheese, roasted salsa roja, secret sauce, diced onions, and chopped cilantro.
Slow-Cooked Pork Carnitas can be found at participating Del Taco locations system-wide for a limited time from June 17 through August 11, 2025. Prices may vary.
