Popeyes is celebrating the 2022 seafood season with the return of its premium Flounder Fish Sandwich, but now in classic and spicy varieties, just like the chain’s famous Chicken Sandwich.
The Popeyes flounder is wild caught, light, flakey and seasoned in a blend of Cajun classic and spicy seasoning. Crafted with just four simple ingredients, the fried filet is served atop a buttery toasted brioche bun with the same barrel cured pickles that fans know and love from the Chicken Sandwich.
Arriving just in time for this year’s seafood / Lenten season, the Flounder Fish Sandwich is available at participating Popeyes restaurants nationwide for $4.49 (price varies with location). To celebrate, Popeyes is offering Rewards members more value by giving them 150 bonus points for each purchase of the Flounder Fish Sandwich.
The nutritional information for this menu item has been updated, and it can be found here: Flounder Fish Sandwich And Shrimp Tackle Box Return To Popeyes For Limited Time.
It’s worth noting that according to the Popeyes website, the Classic Flounder Fish Sandwich has the same nutritional profile as the spicy version.

Decided to try the new flounder fish sandwich. Went ahead with order even after warning it would be a 7 minute wait in drive through. 7 minutes turned into 25 minutes but the worst part was the totally dry fish sandwich I found in the foil wrapper when I got home. No pickles as pictured and advertised and no tarter sauce or mayo as pictured. Just slightly moist bun and dry breaded piece of fish. Not likely to order this again from Popeyes.
