KFC has announced that it is welcoming back its Original Honey BBQ sauce, plus a $3.99 Classic Chicken Sandwich deal, at participating locations starting October 6, 2025.
Originally introduced in the late 1990s and known for its sweet-smoky balance, the Original Honey BBQ sauce has been one of KFC’s most requested items for years, with fans sharing copycat recipes and calling for its return on social media.
This time, the sauce will be available across the menu and can be enjoyed on all of the brand’s fan favorite items, including classic chicken pieces, the KFC Chicken Sandwich, and tenders.
In addition, to mark the sauce’s return, KFC will offer its Chicken Sandwich for $3.99. The deal applies to Classic or Spicy chicken sandwiches, each made with an Extra Crispy chicken breast filet on a toasted brioche bun with pickles and mayo (or spicy mayo).
You can find the Original Honey BBQ sauce and the $3.99 Classic Chicken Sandwich deal at participating KFC locations nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last, starting Monday, October 6, 2025.
