Popeyes today officially announced that it has partnered with truffle brand TRUFF for the nationwide debut of the brand’s fanciest collab to date, the new Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich.
As first reported by The Fast Food Post earlier this month, the new Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich takes the chain’s iconic Chicken Sandwich to “new levels of fancy and flair,” delivering a delicious crunch and a juicy burst of Louisiana-style flavor, by now topping it with TRUFF’s Spicy Mayo, which features the bold flavors of red jalapeno, creamy mayo, and black winter truffle.
Retaining all the hallmarks of the original Chicken Sandwich, Popeyes’ Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich boasts a hand-battered and breaded whole chicken breast fillet served atop a buttery brioche bun with barrel cured pickles and rich and creamy Spicy Mayo.
The Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich is available now at participating locations nationwide for a suggested starting price of $5.99.
In addition, for fans looking to get creative with their order, Popeyes has also launched the new “Build Your Own” TRUFF menu available exclusively on the Popeyes app and website. The digital menu option allows fans to customize their orders by combining their favorite Popeyes menu items with a side of TRUFF Spicy Mayo. From Homestyle Mac & Cheese to Cajun Fries, Tenders and Nuggets, a fancy bundle is ready to be created and customized to guests’ personal preferences.
Additionally, Popeyes fans can also purchase a side of the TRUFF Spicy Mayo on the Popeyes app and website and through third party delivery partners for $1 (may vary).
The Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich can be found at participating Popeyes locations nationwide for a limited time beginning October 17, 2023.
