Shake Shack gets fancy with the launch of its new Black Truffle Menu at select locations in Los Angeles and New York City.
The chain has partnered with specialty food purveyor Regalis Foods to create a real black truffle sauce that’s made with USDA Organic Black Truffle Arbequina Oil, caramelized mushrooms, thyme, fresh bay leaf, port and madeira fortified wines, Parmesan cheese, and aged sherry vinegar.
Made from Spanish black truffles and California extra virgin olive oil, Black Truffle Arbequina Oil is the “only truly natural truffle product on the market.”
Shake Shack’s new truffle-based menu includes the following options:
Black Truffle Burger ($8.89): Cheeseburger topped with gruyere cheese, real black truffle sauce, and crispy shallots on a toasted Martin’s potato bun.
Black Truffle ‘Shroom Burger ($8.89): Crispy portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, and topped with real black truffle sauce and shredded lettuce on a toasted Martin’s potato bun.
Black Truffle Shack Stack ($11.89): Gruyere-style Cheeseburger and a ‘Shroom Burger topped with real black truffle sauce on a toasted potato bun.
Additionally, you can also get Black Truffle Sauce on the side for just $1.50 to top or dip your favorite Shake Shack snacks.
The new Truffle Menu will be available in New York and Los Angeles at Shake Shack’s Madison Square Park, Upper West Side, Glendale and El Segundo Shacks from December 1 through December 31, 2020, while supplies last.
