Taco Bell continues to explore the addition of a portable, bite-sized chicken to the menu with a new test of their Crispy Chicken Nuggets at select locations in the Houston, Texas area.
First tested in the Minneapolis area back in 2023, Crispy Chicken Nuggets feature all-white meat marinated chicken pieces infused with a mild jalapeño buttermilk marinade, then hand-breaded in a crunchy coating made with bits of tortilla chips, and fried to a golden crisp.
Taco Bell is also trying out two new sauces to pair with the chicken nuggets, including the new Bell sauce and Jalapeño Honey Mustard sauce. According to the fast-food restaurant chain, the Bell sauce is a savory and tangy sauce with notes of chili peppers, while the Jalapeño Honey Mustard sauce offers a blend of sweet honey, spicy jalapeño, and classic mustard.
Crispy Chicken Nuggets can be enjoyed in two sizes, including a 5-piece order served with your choice of dipping sauce for $3.49 – $3.99 and a 10-piece order with choice of two sauces for $6.49 – $6.99. Some locations are also offering a Crispy Chicken Nuggets Deluxe Meal that includes a 5-piece order of nuggets, a Cantina Chicken Soft Taco, a Crunchy Taco, an Avocado Verde Salsa packet, chips and nacho cheese sauce, a Bell sauce dipping cup, and a medium fountain drink.
Taco Bell’s Crispy Chicken Nuggets are available at select test locations in Houston, Texas for a limited time.
