Arby’s kicks off 2022 with the launch of the new Diablo Dare Sandwich, a menu item that’s so spicy they had to include a free vanilla shake to shake to cool your mouth down between bites.
Described as the spiciest sandwich on the market, the Diablo Dare features your choice of either 13-hour Smoked Brisket or Crispy Chicken paired with ghost pepper jack cheese, fiery hot seasoning, fire-roasted jalapeños, and Diablo BBQ sauce, all served on a toasted red chipotle bun.
To create the spiciest sandwich on the market, the brand used the following five key ingredients:
- Red Chipotle Bun: A soft, lightly toasted bun made with chipotle pepper flakes for a kick of heat.
- Ghost Pepper Jack Cheese: A pepper jack cheese blended with ghost peppers, jalapeño peppers, and habanero peppers.
- Fiery Seasoning: A proprietary hot seasoning made from a mixture of habanero powder, cayenne red peppers, and capsicum.
- Diablo BBQ Sauce: A spicy barbecue sauce made from a combination of chipotle peppers, cayenne pepper, habanero peppers, and chili pepper.
- Fire-Roasted Jalapeños: Fire-roasted diced jalapeños.
The new Diablo Dare Sandwich will be available at participating Arby’s locations around the country from January 10 through February 6, 2022, for a suggested starting price of $5.99, including a free snack shake.
They’re also offering a Diablo Brisket Meal that starts at $9.39 and a Diablo Chicken Sandwich Meal that starts at $8.89. Both meal options include your choice of one side, a soft drink, and a free shake. Just take note that prices may vary by location.
To celebrate the launch of its spiciest sandwich ever, the brand is launching the Diablo Dare Hashtag Challenge on TikTok. Beginning January 18, guests can go on TikTok and use a branded effect filter to show their friends and followers how much of the Diablo Dare sandwich they can take before reaching for relief with the vanilla shake.
