Burger King continues to innovate on its signature Whopper sandwich with the launch of the all-new Southwest Bacon Whopper lineup starting June 27, 2022.
All four sandwiches are made with a new avocado spread, seasoned tortilla strips, crispy bacon and a creamy spicy sauce. Additionally, those looking for a flexitarian option can order the Impossible Southwest Bacon Whopper, which features a plant-based patty made by Impossible Foods.
Burger King’s new Southwest Bacon Whopper Sandwich menu includes:
- Southwest Bacon Whopper Jr.: A flame-grilled beef patty topped with avocado spread, crispy bacon, seasoned tortilla strips, melty American cheese, lettuce, sliced white onions, tomatoes, and creamy spicy sauce sandwiched between a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Southwest Bacon Whopper: A quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty topped with avocado spread, crispy bacon, seasoned tortilla strips, American cheese, lettuce, sliced white onions, tomatoes, and creamy spicy sauce, all served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Double Southwest Bacon Whopper: Two quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patties topped with avocado spread, crispy bacon, seasoned tortilla strips, melted American cheese, lettuce, sliced white onions, tomatoes, and creamy spicy sauce served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Impossible Southwest Bacon Whopper: A flame-grilled Impossible patty made from plants with avocado spread, crispy bacon, seasoned tortilla strips, American cheese, lettuce, sliced white onions, tomatoes, and creamy spicy sauce, sandwiched between a toasted sesame seed bun.
And the fun doesn’t stop there. Loyal BK fans with a Royal Perks account now have a new, exclusive way to have it their way. Beginning on June 30, 2022 for all digital BK orders and for an additional $1, Royal Perks members will have exclusive access to add the new avocado spread to all flame-grilled burgers, Impossible patties and chicken sandwiches while the Southwest Bacon Whopper is available on the chain’s menu. For a limited time, Royal Perks members can add the avocado spread only through the customization page on the BK app and online at BK.com.
