In celebration of the upcoming release of Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Burger King has announced that they’ll be launching a new Spider-Verse Whopper made a red bun and a new Spider-Verse Sundae on May 15, 2023.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic web-slinger himself, the Spider-Verse Whopper features a red bun topped with black sesame seeds sandwiching a slice of melted Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced white onions, crunchy pickles, creamy mayonnaise, and ketchup.
In addition to the flame-grilled Spider-Verse Whopper, fans can also enjoy the fast-food giant’s new Spider-Verse Sundae for a limited time this summer.
The new Spider-Verse Sundae features the brand’s vanilla soft serve ice cream topped with black and red chocolate popping candies.
You can find both the Spider-Verse Whopper and Spider-Verse Sundae at participating Burger King locations nationwide from May 15 through June 21, 2023.
Additionally, starting today, the Spider-Verse will also be taking over select Burger King locations across the world. With interactive designs that place fans inside the “Spider-Verse” – including an in-dining room and drive thru takeover, as well as Instagram-worthy areas, where guests can immerse themselves in the “Spider-Verse.”
The transformed restaurant locations can be found in New York City (Astoria, Queens), Brazil, France, and United Arab Emirates, among others.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the next chapter in the hit film franchise, is slated to hit theaters worldwide on June 2, 2023.
