Based on feedback, Burger King announced today that it’s launching new, bigger, juicier, and more flavorful chicken nuggets, along with a new Special Savory Sauce, at participating locations starting September 1, 2026.
Now served in a box, the new nuggets feature 100% white-meat chicken, coated in crispier breading and a tastier marinade, then deep-fried until golden brown.
In addition to the new chicken nuggets, Burger King is revamping its dipping-sauce lineup, improving existing fan favorites and introducing the new limited-time Special Savory Sauce. Here’s a closer look at the brand’s updated sauce lineup:
- New Special Savory Sauce: A limited-time dip with a creamy texture, tangy flavor, mild heat, and notes of barbecue seasoning, ketchup, garlic, onion, and black pepper.
- Honey Mustard: A smooth blend of honey and mustard with a creamy texture and a balanced sweet-and-tangy taste.
- Buffalo: A cayenne-based sauce with buttery richness, garlic flavor, and moderate heat.
- Sweet & Sour: A balanced sauce combining pineapple sweetness, tangy flavor, and a savory finish.
The new nuggets and the limited-time Special Savory Sauce will be available at participating Burger King locations nationwide starting Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
