Burger King is thanking fans who submitted their Whopper creations in the Million Dollar Whopper Contest by offering up to one million original Whoppers for $1 each, starting November 12, 2024, while supplies last.
Beginning tomorrow, members of Burger King’s Royal Perks loyalty program can get a $1 Whopper by claiming it through the ‘offers’ tab in the brand’s mobile app or website.
Once guests have enjoyed the savory flame-grilled flavor of the iconic Whopper for only $1, they can head to their nearby Burger King location to explore three creative versions of the signature sandwich starting Thursday, November 14. These three finalist entries from the Million Dollar Whopper Contest include:
- Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper (Crafted by Fabian from California) – This Whopper includes a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty, adorned with a rich pickle ranch sauce, crisp lettuce, fried pickles, bacon, and Swiss cheese, all nestled in a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper (Invented by Calvin from California) – This version features a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty with maple bourbon BBQ sauce, crunchy onions and jalapeños, smoky maple candied bacon, and American cheese, served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
- Mexican Street Corn Whopper (Created by Kelsie from Nebraska) – This Whopper is topped with a creamy street corn spread, lettuce, tomato, crunchy tortilla strips, and spicy queso atop a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty, all in a toasted sesame seed bun.
Customers can scan the QR code found on the wrapper of any of the three finalist sandwiches from the Million Dollar Whopper Contest. This will direct them to the BK App or bk.com/MDW, where they can vote for their preferred sandwich and contribute to selecting the $1 million grand prize winner.
