Burger King Quietly Rolls Out The Texas Double Whopper Nationwide

3

Burger King has quietly bolstered its Flame Grilled Burgers lineup with the launch of the Texas Double Whopper at participating locations nationwide.

The Texas Double Whopper comes with two quarter-pound savory flame-grilled patties topped with melty American cheese, thick-cut smoked bacon, sliced jalapeños, ripe tomatoes, fresh lettuce, sliced white onions, pickles, creamy mayo, and yellow mustard, all served on a soft sesame seed bun.

It’s similar to the chain’s original Whopper, but with bacon, jalapeños, and yellow mustard instead of ketchup.

While prices may vary by location, my nearest Burger King charges $8.09 for the Texas Double Whopper on its own. Combo meals are also available starting at $11.29 (may vary).

Previously only available in select markets, mainly Texas, the Texas Double Whopper can now be found at participating Burger King restaurants across the country.

  1. I just had this absolutely delicious burger, and now I have a new go to burger. Only one problem, I hope they make them like this in Southaven, Ms. because I sure as heck can’t drive to Wyoming twice a week.

  2. There was one line in your article that was wrong.

It is like the original Whopper, but it has American Cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and mustard instead of ketchup.

The original Whopper does not have American Cheese. This is why they always ask you if you want to add cheese.
