Burger King Tests New Impossible Croissan’wich With Sausage Made From Plants

Burger King looks to add more plant-based options to the menu with the introduction of the new Impossible Croissan’wich.

Today Burger King announced that it will be offering the new breakfast item at select locations in Georgia, Alabama, New Mexico, Illinois, and Michigan starting in late January 2020.

Burger King’s Impossible Croissan’wich features a seasoned plant-based sausage patty from Impossible Foods, topped with fluffy eggs and melted American cheese, all on a toasted croissant made with 100% butter.

The Impossible Croissan’wich will be available at 139 test locations in the following cities:

  • Albuquerque, NM.
  • Lansing, MI.
  • Montgomery, AL.
  • Savannah, GA.
  • Springfield, IL.

According to a press release, this test “makes Burger King the first fast-food restaurant to test Impossible Sausage made from plants on a breakfast sandwich.”
