Burger King looks to add more cheesy, melty goodness to the menu with launch of its new Whopper Melt sandwiches lineup at select locations in Toledo, Ohio.

The new Whopper Melt sandwiches are a toasted, cheesy, melty spin on the chain’s popular Whopper that’s available in three varieties, each featuring two 100 percent flame-grilled beef patties served between two slices of toast.

Here’s a closer look at Burger King’s new Whopper Melt sandwiches lineup:

  • The Whopper Melt comes with two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. Patties, melty American cheese, caramelized onions and Stacker Sauce sandwiched between two slices of toast.
  • The Bacon Whopper Melt consists of two Whopper Jr. Patties layered with two slices of melty American cheese and topped with crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and Stacker Sauce, all sandwiched between two slices of toast.
  • The Spicy Whopper Melt features two flame-grilled Whopper Jr. Patties with American cheese, jalapeños, caramelized onions, and a new creamy, spicy sauce sandwiched between two slices of toast.

All three Whopper Melt sandwiches carry a suggested starting price of $3.99, although prices may vary by location.

  1. I hope these make it nationwide! I used to be a big fan of the melts at HARDEES…I think they still have one version on their menus.
