Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are partnering with Universal Pictures for the launch of a new Primal Menu, which will give fans the chance to experience a taste of the much anticipated release of Jurassic World Dominion before it hits theaters nationwide on June 10, 2022.
The new Primal Menu is available now at participating locations and it includes a variety of savory offerings fit for carnivores craving slow-cooked prime rib like the new Primal Angus Thickburger, the Primal Biscuit with Fried Egg and the Primal Burrito.
For herbivores, Carl’s Jr. is also exclusively offering the Beyond Wraptor Burger and the Double Beyond Wraptor Burger, both of which are made with Plant-Based Beyond Burger Patties. Additionally, and as an homage to the iconic Jurassic World amber resin, these menu items also feature the brand’s new tangy Amber BBQ Sauce.
Carl’s Jr. Primal Menu:
- Primal Angus Thickburger: 100% Black Angus beef patty, charbroiled over an open flame and topped with tender slow cooked sliced prime rib, sweet and savory Amber BBQ Sauce, smoked cheddar cheese and onion rings served on a toasted potato bun. (970 calories, $7.99)
- Primal Burrito: Slow cooked sliced prime rib, smoked cheddar cheese, hash rounds, scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, and tangy Amber BBQ wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. (770 calories, $5.49)
- Primal Biscuit with Fried Egg: Slow cooked, sliced prime rib topped with smoked cheddar cheese, a fried egg and sweet and savory Amber BBQ Sauce, all served on a warm buttermilk biscuit. (640 calories, $4.49)
- Beyond Wraptor Burger: A100% plant based Beyond Burger patty, charbroiled over an open flame and topped with Swiss cheese, tomatoes, fried zucchini, and tangy Amber BBQ Sauce, served in crisp green leaf lettuce. (600 calories, $6.99)
- Double Beyond Wraptor Burger: Two 100% plant based Beyond Burger patties, charbroiled over an open flame and topped with sweet and savory Amber BBQ Sauce, Swiss cheese, fried zucchini, and tomatoes, served in crisp green leaf lettuce. (950 calories, $9.99)
Hardee’s Primal Menu:
- Primal Angus Thickburger: A 100% Black Angus beef patty, charbroiled over an open flame, topped with tender slow cooked sliced prime rib, smoked cheddar cheese, onion rings, and sweet and savory Amber BBQ Sauce, all served on a toasted potato bun. ($6.79)
- Primal Burrito: Slow cooked sliced prime rib, smoked cheddar cheese, folded eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, hash rounds, and tangy Amber BBQ Sauce, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. ($4.29)
- Primal Biscuit with Fried Egg: Slow cooked sliced prime rib, smoked cheddar cheese, a fried egg and sweet and savory Amber BBQ Sauce on a warm Made from Scratch biscuit. ($4.29)
To create excitement leading up to Jurassic World Dominion’s release, Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s will bring the film to life by turning two Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s locations into the biggest dinosaur bite magnet the world has ever seen. The Jurassic World Dino Takeovers in Los Angeles and Nashville have been designed to feel as if they could almost be part of the movie itself – you might even spot a Jurassic T. rex at the Los Angeles location.
The Dino Takeovers will run from June 1 through June 8, at one restaurant in Los Angeles and one restaurant in Nashville, ahead of Jurassic World Dominion’s June 10 debut.
