Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s look to sweeten up some of their savoriest menu items with a test of the new Candied Bacon lineup at select locations in Bakersfield, California, Champaign-Springfield, Illinois and Dothan, Alabama.
Here’s a closer look at the new Candied Bacon menu:
- With a suggested price of $3.49, the Candied Bacon Biscuit with Fried Egg consists of a Buttermilk Biscuit topped with applewood-smoked candied bacon made in-house, coated with caramelized brown sugar and pepper, melted American cheese and a freshly cracked fried egg.
- With a suggested price of $5.49, the Candied Bacon Angus Thickburger features a one-third pound Angus beef patty charbroiled over an open flame and topped with four strips of crispy candied bacon, melted American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mild garlic mayo, all served on a toasted potato bun.
- With a suggested price of $2.49, the Candied Bacon Snack Pack features Applewood-smoked candied bacon made in-house, coated with caramelized brown sugar and pepper, served in a portable pack for on-the-go snacking.
The Candied Bacon lineup will be available for a limited time only at participating Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s test locations through December 2021. Prices may vary.
