Chick-fil-A just added a new vegan and vegetarian side featuring Kale to its expansive menu.
On Monday, March 18, America’s favorite chicken chain began testing the new Kale Crunch Side in Orlando, Gainesville, Daytona and Space Coast, Florida; Tyler-Longview, Texas; and Eastern Iowa-area restaurants.
The new, limited-time Kale Crunch Side is a blend of curly kale and green cabbage tossed in an Apple Dijon Dressing and topped with crunchy almonds.
Chick-fil-A’s new leafy green side is the perfect companion to the chain’s Grilled Nuggets or their Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which together only add 460 calories. So this salad is as healthy as it gets.
The Kale Crunch Salad is available in small and large options, and prices start at $1.85. Chick-fil-A’s latest menu addition has less than 150 calories including toppings.
You can also opt to order the Kale Crunch Side in a small or large tray off the catering menu.
Feedback from the test will help determine whether the leafy green side will be added to menus nationwide.
