Today, Chick-fil-A announced that a new frosted treat will hit menus nationwide on March 18.
Arriving just in time for Spring, the new Frosted Key Lime is a new twist on the company’s lineup of treats that consists of ice cream, lemonade, and sugar-free lime flavoring. More details below.
The seasonal item was first tested in Austin, Texas last year and “positive customer feedback confirmed the decision to launch the treat nationwide,” the company said in a blog post.
Chick-fil-A’s new drink combines hand-spun Vanilla IceDream with Lemonade or Diet Lemonade. And it also includes a natural sugar-free lime flavoring that uses Kafir Limes and Persian limes for an added kick.
The small, 16-ounce Frosted Key Lime starts at a suggested price of $3.25 and can be mixed with regular or diet lemonade. The regular Frosted Key Lime has 350 calories while the Diet Frosted Key Lime with Splenda has 280 calories.
Chick-fil-A’s Frosted Key Lime will be available in all locations across the nation starting Monday, March 18, 2019 while supplies last or through Saturday, May 25.
