Chick-fil-A is heating up its menu this fall with the return of the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich starting September 12, 2022.
First introduced nationally back in 2021, the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich features juicy grilled chicken marinated in a spicy seasoning, paired with Colby-Jack cheese, lettuce, and tomato, and served on a toasted multigrain brioche.
To create the Grilled Spicy Deluxe, Chef Angela Wadlington, one of the chain’s senior culinary developers, and her team incorporated a variety of key ingredients to give the sandwich a unique taste that you won’t find anywhere else.
For example, Chick-fil-A’s new Grilled Spicy Marinade, which was inspired by the brand’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich recipe, layers in bigger and bolder flavors and spices to complement the original’s signature taste without adding additional heat.
Additionally, the limited time, cool and creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce was developed exclusively for pairing with the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich, but fans can enjoy it alongside any other menu item at no extra cost.
Chick-fil-A suggests pairing the returning seasonal sandwich with either Waffle Potato Fries, Mac & Cheese, or a Kale Crunch Side to balance out the heat.
You can find the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich for a limited time at participating locations nationwide, starting on September 12, through fall 2022.
