By popular demand, Chipotle is welcoming back its popular Chicken al Pastor to restaurants worldwide for a limited time starting March 12, 2024.
Crafted to level up any go-to Chipotle order, Chicken al Pastor is finally back on the grill featuring a perfect combination of bold flavors, including adobo, ground achiote, morita peppers, and a splash of pineapple and fresh lime cilantro.
More specifically, Chicken al Pastor is prepared fresh daily in small batches and made with grilled chicken, a rich marinade of seared morita peppers and ground achiote, balanced with a touch of pineapple and finished with fresh lime and hand-chopped cilantro.
Chicken al Pastor debuted back in March 2023 as the brand’s first global menu innovation and quickly became a fan-favorite after capturing guests’ taste buds with its tenderness and bold flavor. According to Chipotle, fans have flooded their social media comments requesting the return of Chicken al Pastor since it left menus last August. Chipotle says that there have been three times more requests to bring back Chicken al Pastor on social media than any other limited-time offering in the chain’s history.
In addition, Chipotle has also revealed the most ordered Chicken al Pastor burrito bowl among guests in 2023, which features white rice, black beans, cheese, roasted chili-corn salsa, fresh tomato salsa, and guac.
Chipotle’s “Most Ordered Chicken al Pastor Bowl” is available via one-tap digital ordering through the Chipotle app, Chipotle.com and Chipotle.ca.
To celebrate the reintroduction of the fan-favorite menu item, Chipotle is offering free delivery on all Chicken al Pastor orders placed via their mobile app, Chipotle.com and Chipotle.ca from March 14 through March 24, 2024, in the US and Canada.
Additionally, in the U.K., Chipotle is offering a £0 delivery fee on Uber Eats orders of £15 or more from 14 March through 28 March, 2024. Fans in France can also score a €0 delivery fee offer when ordering on Deliveroo from 14 March through March 28.
