Texas Dairy Queen locations are cranking up the heat with the debut of the new Jalitos Ranch Hungr-Buster Burger through May 22, 2023.
The Jalitos Ranch Hungr-Buster Burger starts with a full-quarter-pound grilled beef patty and garden-fresh lettuce topped, topped with creamy jalapeño ranch dressing and melted pepper jack cheese, and then crowned with crispy jalitos between two buttery toasted buns.
Jalitos, pronounced “ha-LEE-tos,” are jalapeño strips dipped in batter and deep-fried to golden, spicy perfection – a splendid take on the Capsicum annuum chili pepper so common in the Southwest.
According to Dairy Queen, these peppery slivers of spicy goodness provide a mild-to-medium kick and a zesty crunch that’s so good “you’ll wish you could put them on everything.”
The Jalitos Ranch Hungr-Buster can be enjoyed on its own for a suggested price of $6.29, or as part of a combo served with medium fries and a medium drink for $8.75 (may vary). Jalitos can also be purchased a la carte as a side for a suggested price of $5.59.
