Del Taco looks to create a new holiday tradition with the launch of their new Tamales. The new menu item will hit Del Taco restaurants nationwide on November 21, 2019.

The company made the announcement on social media, where they shared a picture, teasing the new menu item and we can already tell this is going to be a hit with Mexican food fans.

On Friday the Mexican fast-food chain took to social media saying “Brace yourselves… Tamaledays at Del Taco are coming!”

The brand also posted a photo with the caption, “New Tamales A Delicious Holiday Holiday Tradition Coming 11/21/29.”

Deja Lindley, a local Del Taco manager said, “THEY ARE SO YUMMY!! IT’S A MUST TRY! I’m so happy I got to try them before the launch.”

Fans across social media are asking the company to make vegan tamales, since the company already makes burritos and tacos with Beyond Meat’s crumbles.

Also, Del Taco continues to offer the 2 for $3 Del Taco deal, where you can get two Del Tacos for just 3 bucks.

The Del Taco features double the seasoned beef and double the hand-grated cheese, topped with lettuce and diced tomatoes in a bigger and also crunchier shell.

The 2 for $3 Del Tacos deal is available at participating locations nationwide for a limited time.

Are you excited about the new Tamales at Del Taco? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

  1. I love Del Taco. Much better than Taco smell I mean Bell. These tamales looks great, especially the one smothered in Chile! We just need some smothered burritos now. 😉

  2. I almost flew down to my car so I could get over to Del Taco to try these until I read that these tamales have pork. Hey Del Taco; please offer these with chicken or with cheese only for those of us that don’t consume pork products.

  3. I can’t believe I’m quoted in this article! Hahaha! Can Del taco please give me a raise for this amazing advertising I’ve been doing!?
