Friendly’s is revamping its menu with the introduction of 12 new menu items that bring a unique twist to salads, burgers, pasta, and more.
Additionally, the restaurant chain is cutting back the number of items, reducing the number of pages on the menu from eight to two, and adding two new menu categories, including pasta and chopped burger, as well as expanding their salad selection with new additions like the $100,000 Cobb Salad and the Chicken Caesar Salad.
The new changes also bring creative food ideas to the table such as the Tater Kegs appetizer, Grilled Chicken Mozza SuperMelt, Doritos Cool Ranch ChoppedCheese Burger, Cheese Skirt Burger and Bangin’ Beef Stroganoff, among many others.
The twelve new menu items include:
- Tater Kegs: Five jumbo tater kegs filled with Cheddar cheese, bacon and chives, topped off with sour cream. ($10.99)
- $100,000 Cobb Salad: This hearty salad comes topped with boiled egg, crumbled Bleu cheese, chopped bacon, cranberries, golden raisins, diced tomato and thin sliced chicken breast tossed with Lite Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. ($16.49)
- Chicken Caesar Salad: Mixed lettuce with thinly sliced chicken breast, shaved Parmesan cheese and garlic croutons, all tossed in creamy Asiago Caesar dressing. ($14.29)
- Jammed-Up Burger: A classic beef patty and white cheddar cheese, heaped with a generous layer of cheesy beef brisket, lettuce, tomato and fig jam on a brioche bun. ($16.79)
- Cheese Skirt Burger: The Cheese Skirt Burger features a skirt made out of cheese that can be folded inside the burger or switched off by taking a bite after a bite of burger and crispy Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese. It also comes topped with tangy Thousand Island dressing, lettuce, onion, tomato and pickle chips, and served on a brioche bun. ($15.29)
- Doritos Cool Ranch ChoppedCheese Burger: A classic juicy beef burger topped with Pepper Jack cheese, onions, jalapeños and salsa, then smothered with ranch dressing and topped with Cool Ranch tortilla chips, all sandwiched between a grilled ciabatta roll. ($14.99)
- Tex-Mex Alfredo Taco Pasta: A Bolognese style Tex-Mex meat sauce and hearty pasta tossed in a creamy Alfredo Sriracha taco sauce. Served with toasted ciabatta bread. ($15.99)
- Bangin’ Beef Stroganoff: Make some noise for a thin sliced sirloin steak coated in a luscious creamy mushroom, onion and garlic sauce and tossed with perfectly cooked pasta. Served with thick ciabatta toast. ($15.39)
- American Cheese Brisket SuperMelt: Beef brisket and melted American cheese stacked on Parmesan-grilled sourdough bread. ($16.79)
- Grilled Chicken Mozza SuperMelt: Thin-sliced chicken breast, roasted red peppers and basil pesto sauce layered between thick white Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses on grilled sourdough bread. ($16.09)
- Oven Roasted Beef Brisket: Six ounces of extra tender brisket served alongside steamed vegetables, gravy-topped garlic red skin mashed potatoes, and thick ciabatta toast. ($17.09)
- Aloha Stir Fry Chicken: Vegetable and pineapple rice topped with chicken and tossed with crisp chow mein noodles in a light sauce. ($15.39)
To celebrate the debut of the revamped menu, Friendly’s will be offering a free medium sundae with the purchase of a $100,000 Cobb Salad, Chicken Caesar Salad, Jammed-Up Burger, Doritos Cool Ranch ChoppedCheese Burger, Tex-Mex Alfredo Taco Pasta, or the Grilled Chicken Mozza SuperMelt from April 6 through April 30, 2022.
The updated menu items are available for dine-in, and can also be ordered online or through the Friendly’s app for both takeout and delivery. Prices may vary depending on your location.
