El Pollo Loco is getting ready for the holiday season with the launch of its 2021 holiday menu, featuring the return of Tamale Bowls, Holiday Familia Dinner, Chicken Pozole Verde, Mexican Hot Chocolate, and more.
El Pollo Loco’s full holiday lineup includes:
- Double Tamale Avocado Bowl: Two of the chain’s handmade chicken tamales on a bed of rice and beans topped with traditional enchilada sauce, cotija cheese and fresh Hass Avocado and cilantro.
- Tamale & Taco Bowl: A chicken tamale topped with traditional enchilada sauce, cotija cheese and fresh cilantro, served with an authentic chicken taco al carbon on a bed of rice and beans.
- Tamale & Two-Piece Chicken: A chicken tamale topped with traditional enchilada sauce, cotija cheese and fresh cilantro, and served with one of the chain’s famous fire-grilled chicken legs and one of their famous fire-grilled chicken thighs on a bed of rice and beans.
- Holiday Familia Dinner: Ten pieces of El Pollo Loco’s fire-grilled chicken with fresh salsa and your choice of two large sides and warm tortillas for a suggested price of $20.
- Chicken Pozole Verde: Chicken and tender hominy slowly simmered in a savory broth of tomatillo, garlic, onion and flavorful chiles.
- Mexican Hot Chocolate: A blend of Rich Abuelita Chocolate, spiced with cinnamon and vanilla topped with whipped cream and dusted with cinnamon sugar.
- Tamales: Handmade tamales, available a la carte and in family bundles of six or twelve.
El Pollo Loco’s holiday menu will be available at participating restaurants nationwide through December 26, 2021. Prices may vary by location.
