IHOP looks to jump on the vegan bandwagon with a test of the new Plant Based Cali sandwich at one select Flip’d by IHOP location in the Flatiron neighborhood of New York City.
IHOP’s new Plant Based Cali sandwich comes with a vegan sausage breakfast patty especially crafted for IHOP by Sweet Earth, mung bean-based JUST Egg, roasted tomatoes, arugula, and avocado on a vegan bun.
The IHOP culinary team spent over two years testing several plant-based products to create the new vegan sandwich. IHOP says that if the test proves to be successful, it could lead to the sandwich being added to the national menu.
The new Plant Based Cali sandwich is available for a limited time at the Flip’d by IHOP location in the Flatiron neighborhood of NYC.
