In an effort to help fans beat rising food costs due to inflation, KFC is introducing the new Taste of KFC Deals value menu, which features a trio of price-conscious meal options starting at just $4.99 so you don’t have to sacrifice quality or taste to save on money on food.
Taste of KFC Deals will be available seven days a week at participating KFC restaurants nationwide, as well as on the KFC app and online at KFC.com, through the end of 2024.
Deals available as part of the promotion include the $4.99 Meal for One, which includes two pieces of signature fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and a buttery biscuit, the Meal for Two, perfect for parties of two and priced based on location, and the $20 Family Meal, featuring six pieces of fried chicken alongside four individual sides and biscuits, all for 20 bucks.
Taste of KFC Deals lineup:
- $4.99 Meal for One: Two pieces of crispy-fried, hot, juicy chicken (drum and thigh), creamy mashed potatoes and gravy and an extra buttery biscuit for a suggested price of $4.99.
- Meal for Two: Four pieces of chicken (drum, thigh, breast, wing) served with mashed potatoes and gravy and two extra buttery biscuits – prices vary by location.
- $20 Family Meal: Six pieces of chicken on the bone (two drums, two thighs, one breast and one wing), plus your choice of four individual sides and four extra buttery biscuits. Side options include Secret Recipe Fries, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes (with or without gravy), sweet corn, and coleslaw.
You can find the new Taste of KFC Deals value menu at participating KFC locations nationwide through the end of 2024.
So the $20 “family meal” is now down to just 6 pieces of chicken and no dessert? Used to be 10 pieces then 8 pieces now down to 6! Though it’s better than their last cheapskate meal of fries and nuggets. 6 pieces of chicken (only 1 breast) certainly doesn’t fill a bucket like they used to in this family meal. And where’s the chocolate cake? Oh, how the once mighty KFC has fallen.
It’s foolish to order the $20 deal, with only 6 pieces. Just order 4 individual meals. Everyone gets a drum and thigh, mashed and gravy and a biscuit…and the adults save 4 cents 🙂
I wonder how a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 kids, are supposed to divide the 6 pieces in the $20 “deal” anyway. I doubt even the kids would feel satisfied with what they got, forget the adults.
