KFC is testing a new chicken sandwich stuffed with Cheetos.

The sandwich is only available at select restaurants across the south, in states such as Georgia, Carolina, and Virginia.

Kentucky Fried Chicken’s latest sandwich comes with hand-breaded Extra Crispy chicken breast drizzled with the chain’s new special Cheetos sauce. And it also includes mayo, and a layer of crunchy Cheetos, all sandwiched between a lightly toasted bun.

According to KFC, they took their signature Crispy Colonel Sandwich and “Cheeto-fied” it for an extra crunch and to add a one-two punch of flavor.

The company describes its new sandwich as “a blast of craveable Cheetos in every bite”.

The fried chicken chain isn’t the first or the only fast-food restaurant chain experimenting with Cheetos based recipes.

In fact, companies like Burger King, Krispy Kreme, and Taco Bell have all launched Cheetos-infused menu items in the past.

Even though the new Cheetos Chicken Sandwich is only available in limited markets, KFC says they will add it to the menu nationwide if it gets enough positive reviews.

Let’s hope it gets a national rollout soon. If it doesn’t, then I guess we’ll have to make our own KFC Cheetos chicken sandwiches at home.

Buy a chicken sandwich at Kentucky Fried Chicken, then buy a bag of crunchy Cheetos and stuff them between the buns.

Nutritional information and prices are unavailable at the moment.
