KFC looks to give fans a nostalgic vibe this holiday season with the re-release of some of their most famous holiday bucket designs from the past. More specifically, the chain is welcoming back the 1966 and 1971 US holiday buckets and is also debuting a new vintage-inspired design for the 2020 holiday season.
According to KFC, the replica designs of both the 1966 and 1971 holiday buckets have been recreated “down to the smallest details.” In fact, they even include the retired tagline, “North America’s Hospitality Dish,” that was featured on the chain’s 1966 bucket.
Meanwhile, KFC says the new holiday bucket design for 2020 “was inspired by the brand’s heritage buckets, but rounds out this year’s lineup with some modern flair.”
All three bucket designs will be available at all US restaurants starting November 24, 2020. However, there will only be limited amounts of the 1966 and 1971 buckets.
KFC fans can get their hands on the new holiday buckets by visiting their local KFC or ordering ahead for delivery or pickup at KFC.com or through Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, or Seamless.
