KFC looks into adding a state fair-inspired treat with a test of new Funnel Cake Fries at select KBP Brands-owned locations in Kansas City, St. Louis, Omaha, northwestern Arkansas and southeastern Oklahoma starting November 29, 2022.
Initially tested at select KFCs in Kansas City earlier this fall, new Funnel Cake Fries are crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and sprinkled with a generous dusting of powdered sugar. KFC says that they taste and smell like funnel cakes reminiscent of state fairs and local carnivals, but come conveniently packaged for snacking on the go.
KFC is also encouraging fans to create their own menu hacks featuring the brand’s signature fried chicken and funnel fries by adding Extra Crispy tenders or a KFC Chicken Sandwich to their order.
Funnel Cake Fries are available in 3 sizes, ranging from individual to shareable, including small for $1.99, large for $2.99, and family size for a suggested price of $5.99.
