Responding to overwhelming fan demand, KFC has announced it is bringing its popular Popcorn Chicken to menus across the country for a limited time.
Originally introduced in the early 1990s and officially discontinued in 2023, Popcorn Chicken features bite-sized pieces of chicken coated in the brand’s signature blend of 11 secret herbs and spices and fried until golden brown and crunchy.
The returning fan-favorite menu item can be enjoyed in the following four ways:
- Popcorn Chicken à la Carte: Features bite-sized Popcorn Chicken in a popcorn box with one dipping sauce, offered for a suggested price of $4.99.
- Popcorn Chicken Bucket: Includes a 16-ounce bucket of Popcorn Chicken and four dipping sauces, offered for a suggested price of $10.00.
- Popcorn Chicken Big Box: Includes 6 ounces of Popcorn Chicken, two Original Recipe Tenders, medium fries, a medium drink, two dipping sauces and a chocolate chunk cookie, offered for a suggested price of $10.99.
- Popcorn Chicken Combo: Includes 6 ounces of Popcorn Chicken, medium fries, a medium drink and one dipping sauce, offered for a suggested price of $8.49.
KFC’s Popcorn Chicken is available at participating locations nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last. Prices may vary.
