Krispy Kreme has just announced that its bringing back their popular Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts on Friday, April 5, 2019.
According to the brand, these chocolate-covered donuts will only be around for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme locations.
Earlier this year, the doughnut maker introduced the new Chocolate Glaze Doughnut Collection.
The chain’s Chocolate Glaze lineup featured a Chocolate Glazed Raspberry-Filled Doughnut, a Double Chocolate Glazed Kreme-Filled Doughnut, Chocolate Glazed Oreo Cookies and Kreme Doughnut, and a Chocolate Glazed Cake Batter Doughnut.
Krispy Kreme’s original glaze went chocolate in 2017 for the first time—for a limited time only—and they were a hit. For those who haven’t tried it, it’s the brand’s Original Glazed Doughnut covered in chocolate glaze.
The chocolate-covered donuts will be available at participating locations on the first Friday of each month, while supplies last.
Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Iced Glazed Doughnut has 240 calories, 11 grams of fat, 33 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of protein. And you can expect to pay around $1.09 per donut, after taxes. But prices may vary by location.
