Krispy Kreme unveiled a special promotion today in honor of its doughnuts making their debut at participating McDonald’s locations in the Chicago area starting Tuesday, October 15, 2024. This marks the first phase of a broader rollout planned for McDonald’s restaurants across the country by the end of 2026.
As a gesture of appreciation for its fans, Krispy Kreme is offering a complimentary Original Glazed doughnut—limited to one per customer—to anyone presenting a McDonald’s paper or digital receipt dated from October 10 to 14 at participating Krispy Kreme locations across the United States during that same period in 2024.
Available daily at select McDonald’s locations in Chicago, three of Krispy Kreme’s favorite doughnuts will be served fresh and ready to enjoy throughout the day, while supplies last, including:
- Original Glazed Doughnut: A melt-in-your-mouth donut coated in the brand’s signature glaze.
- Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles Doughnut: A soft yeast donut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with rainbow sprinkles.
- Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled Doughnut: A light, fluffy donut filled with a smooth Kreme filling and dipped in chocolate icing.
Krispy Kreme announced in a press release that it aims to offer fresh donuts daily at more than 1,000 McDonald’s locations by the end of this year, with plans to expand to 12,000 locations by 2026.
