Krispy Kreme will be celebrating the launch of Nasa’s Artemis 1 mission by offering a one day only Artemis Moon Doughnut on Monday, August 29, 2022.
The Artemis Moon Doughnut features a cheesecake Kreme flavored filled donut dipped in Cookies ‘n Kreme Icing with a swirl of cookie pieces.
As mentioned above, the new moon donut will be available next Monday at participating U.S. Krispy Kreme shops, but if NASA announces that the mission is being delayed by August 27, then the Artemis Moon Doughnut will be rescheduled for launch on the new mission date. Artemis I is an uncrewed, 42-day test flight of the world’s most powerful rocket, which will carry a spacecraft that will fly around the moon and farther away than any other spacecraft built for manned flight into deep space.
