Earlier this week, McDonald’s launched the new Spicy Double McChicken sandwich and brought back Spicy Chicken McNuggets.
But don’t get too excited just yet because the new menu items are only available for dine-in at participating Australian locations, and also online through the chain’s website or the mymacca’s app.
Although the two new items are not available in the US, I’m guessing that if all goes well, the chain may consider rolling them out here in the United States in other markets, including the United States.
McDonald’s introduced the Spicy Chicken McNuggets last year, but took them off the menu far too soon, in my opinion. At least this proves that the chain actually does listen to their customers because they’ve brought back the popular item several times in recent years.
Not only did they bring back the Spicy McNuggets, but they’ve also added a new Spicy Double McChicken sandwich that sounds even more crave-worthy than the aforementioned nuggets.
The Spicy Double McChicken features two breaded chicken breast patties, topped with lettuce and spicy mayo served on a sesame seed bun. This sandwich costs about $9 Australian dollars, which is about $6.40 in US dollars.
Spicy Chicken McNuggets are tender chicken breast pieces breaded with a crispy and spicy tempura coating. A 6pc Spicy Chicken McNuggets goes for $5.60 in Australian dollars or about $4 in USD.
