McDonald’s announced today that the McRib, better known as the sauciest sandwich of the year, is making its annual comeback just in time for the holiday season, starting December 3, 2024.
The McRib includes a boneless pork patty with a slathering of barbecue sauce, topped with onions and pickles, all served on a toasted homestyle bun.
To celebrate its return, and for the first time, McDonald’s is offering fans the chance to enjoy the iconic taste of the McRib in a new way. They’ve launched “A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce,” a half-gallon jug filled with the famous sauce—perfect for holiday celebrations, creative cooking, or as a unique gift for McRib fans.
