McDonald’s is expanding its McCafé Bakery this fall with the launch of the new Cheese Danish starting September 14, 2022.
Arriving as a fresh new take on a pastry the brand first offered back in the 1980s, McDonald’s Cheese Danish features a flaky pastry filled with sweet cream cheese and topped with a buttery streusel and light vanilla drizzle.
The Cheese Danish joins the chain’s roster of McCafé Bakery menu items, which also include fan favorites like the Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin, and Cinnamon Roll.
The seasonal treat will be available all day for a limited time at participating McDonald’s locations nationwide. It can be purchased in-restaurant, at the drive-thru or on the McDonald’s App for McDelivery for $2.19, although prices may vary by location.

$2.99 for a Danish? Let alone, a McDonald’s Danish???
Hey DAG+DAG, it’s going to be priced at around $2.19, according to an employee at my local McDonald’s.
You can get an entire cheese danish at any Walmart for around $3.25. That’d be like buying 4 or 5 of the McD’s version.
