The McDonald’s Menu Spotter has revealed the official release date of the brand’s much-anticipated Shamrock Shake and new fan-favorite Oreo Shamrock McFlurry – and they’re coming sooner than you might have thought.
According to the McDonald’s USA Menu Spotter, both St. Patrick’s Day-inspired treats will be hitting menus across the country starting on February 20, 2023, but, as is customary with these minty treats, they are only going to be available for a limited time.
First introduced in 1970, the Shamrock Shake features the brand’s creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with whipped topping.
Debuting as a new twist on the classic Shamrock Shake back in 2020, the Shamrock McFlurry is made by blending the fast-food chain’s signature soft-serve ice cream with Shamrock Shake syrup and crushed Oreo cookies.
Pricing hasn’t been disclosed yet, but last time around, the Shamrock Shake started at $3.69 for a small, while the Shamrock McFlurry went for $3.99, varying with location.
Both St. Patrick’s Day-inspired treats can be found at participating McDonald’s locations nationwide starting February 20, 2023.
