McDonald’s Officially Announces US Launch of Highly Anticipated Chicken Big Mac

In case you missed it, McDonald’s enthusiasts in the U.S. have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Chicken Big Mac—a variation of the classic Big Mac that has been a fan-favorite since its introduction in 1968.

After being featured on menus in various countries around the world, McDonald’s announced today that this limited-time offering will finally be available in the U.S. starting October 10 at participating restaurants, but only while supplies last.

The Chicken Big Mac features two tempura battered chicken patties, in place of the two signature all-beef patties, layered with melty American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and special sauce, all served on a sesame seed bun.

Now that the secret’s out, we have to ask: is the Chicken Big Mac really a Big Mac? To investigate, we’ve teamed up with internet sensation and Big Mac enthusiast, Kai Cenat. Kai will invite his well-known friends to join him on his livestream, where they’ll taste the Chicken Big Mac and share their honest reactions. Keep an eye on McDonald’s social media throughout the month to see when Kai and his crew go live and reveal their thoughts on whether the Chicken Big Mac qualifies as a true Big Mac.

You can find the Chicken Big Mac at participating McDonald’s locations across the US for a limited time starting October 10, 2024. Prices may vary.
