Mod Pizza celebrates the arrival of its latest topping option, Plant-Based Italian Sausage, with the debut of the new Willow Pizza at participating locations.
The Willow Pizza, a limited edition “Flash MOD”, features a creamy garlic parmesan sauce base topped with the brand’s new plant-based Italian sausage, shredded Asiago cheese, fresh creamy ricotta, and sliced mushrooms, and finished with peppery fresh arugula and a drizzle of smokey, rich, Romesco sauce.
The brand is also offering a 100% vegan version of the Willow made with an extra virgin olive oil base with chopped garlic, dairy-free cheese, MOD’s new plant-based Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, sliced mushrooms, fresh arugula and a drizzle of Romesco sauce.
Plant-based Italian sausage joins Mod’s current lineup of vegan options, which also includes their signature red sauce, regular and gluten-free crusts, and dairy-free cheese.
It’s also worth noting that the new plant-based protein is a permanent fixture as a MOD topping that can be added to any pizza or salad, along with any combinations of toppings, all for one flat price.
