This year, National French Fry Day lands on Thursday, July 13, 2023, and to celebrate, many fast-food restaurant chains are offering a variety of freebies and deals to mark occasion.
Here’s where and how you can score free fries and more on National French Fry Day:
- McDonald’s: Free any size fries through the app – with no purchase necessary – on July 13, 2023.
- Wendy’s: Free any size Fry with any app purchase starting July 13 through July 16. Claim the deal by applying the offer to your mobile order or scan in-restaurant or at the drive-thru at any participating location.
- Fatburger: Free Fat or Skinny Fries with purchase, either in-store or at Fatburger.com, from July 13 through July 16.
- Smashburger: Free Smashfries with any purchase on July 13. You can claim the offer in-restaurant or on the chain’s website/app by using promo code “FRIES” at checkout. This deal includes your choice of Smashfries, Sweet Potato Fries, and French Fries.
- White Castle: Buy one, get one free order of small fries with this coupon at participating locations on July 13. Cannot be combined with any other coupons or discounts, and is not valid for delivery orders. Limit of one redemption per person per visit.
- Hooters: Free Curly Fries, Waffle Fries, or Tots with the purchase of any entree for all dine-in patrons on July 13.
- Krystal: Free medium fry with any digital purchase at participating locations on July 13. You can redeem the offer by using promo code “OURFRIESSLAY” at checkout on the Krystal app or online at krystal.com.
- Heinz and Uber Eats: $5.70 off orders that include at least one order of French fries at participating restaurants on Uber Eats. You can find a list of participating restaurants on the Uber Eats homepage, through the email Uber Eats will be sending to all its users, or by simply looking up your favorite restaurants on UberEats.
- Penn Station Subs: Free any size fries with sub purchase on Thursday, July 13.
- Charleys Philly Steaks: Free fries offers for Charleys Rewards App members all month long. Plus, all fans who stop by a participating Charleys location on July 13 can purchase an order of original fries for just $1.
- Hook & Reel: All-you-can-eat French fries with $20 minimum purchase from July 13 through July 19, 2023.
- Checkers and Rally’s: Free order of XL Fries for Checkers & Rally’s Rewards App members from July 14 through July 16. In addition, participating Checkers and Rally’s locations will also be offering $1 any size fries from July 24 through August 6, 2023.
- Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s: My Rewards Members who buy an order of French Fries either a la carte or as part of combo, via the app or website on Thursday, July 13, 2023 will receive an in-app offer good for an order of free small French Fries with minimum $1 purchase to be used up to one time every 24-hours through December 31, 2023.
- Burgerville: Localville Rewards members can score a free regular-sized fry with any purchase on July 13. The offer is valid for in-store or pickup orders placed on the app.
