Applebee’s adds a new face to their appetizer selection with the debut of new Brew Pub Loaded Waffle Fries.
Brew Pub Loaded Waffle Fries feature the brand’s crispy waffle fries topped with a blend of melted Cheddar cheeses, Blue Moon white Cheddar beer cheese and Applewood-smoked bacon crumbles. The fries are served with a side of house-made buttermilk ranch dressing for dipping.
The new appetizer goes for $8.49 at my nearest Applebee’s, although prices may vary by location.

We just went to Applebee’s for their “Half Price” Appetizers. The Waffle Fries were deceptive in their promotion and were joke in their offering. They were not made with “whole” potatoes sliced with a waffle cut and fried. If any potato parts were in them at all it was mashed potato and then formed to look like real potato Waffle Cut Fry . In your mouth they felt and chewed like Waffle Batter being passed off as something made with “a potato like substance”.
I asked our server if the Waffle “fries” were made from “real potatoes”. She said she would talk to the cook and he showed her the package they came in and listed the “first ingredient” was potato. However,
even their promotional advertisement does not mention the word “Potato”. Promotional slight of hand!!!
