Cheddar cheese buns are returning to Wendy’s – with a spicy twist – as part of the brand’s new Loaded Nacho lineup starting next month, The Fast Food Post has learned.
The new limited time, Loaded Nacho products include a Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger and a Loaded Nacho Chicken Sandwich.
Supposedly, the Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger will feature a fresh, never frozen square beef patty with American cheese, poblano queso, spicy corn and tortilla chips, tomato, lettuce and spicy chipotle sauce, all served on a jalapeño cheddar bun.
Meanwhile, the Loaded Nacho Chicken Sandwich takes the Loaded Nacho burger and swaps out the square beef patty for a classic crispy chicken breast fillet.
If the rumors are true, you will be able to find the new Loaded Nacho items at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide by the end of next month. More specifically, some time between August 21 and 24, 2023.

The chicken sandwich sure looks good, I’ll give that a shot if the rumors pan out.
“Spicy corn and tortilla chips” not sure exactly what to make of that?
The rumors are true. We already have a few of the ingredients in the back of our store, and the instructional video for making the sandwich and fries is up.
Can’t wait to try this new Wendy’s lineup. They already have great fresh burgers. Why not add some Mexican flair?
I just had this in the burger form… fantastic, will be going back for the chicken variation.
I had the burger yesterday and it was underwhelming. The chips on the burger as well as the bun seemed kinda stale. They replaced my favorite–the pretzel bacon pub burger–for this?
