Panda Express Just Dropped New Sichuan Hot Chicken

Your favorite Chinese fast-food chain just released one of their hottest temporary menu items yet: Sichuan Hot Chicken.

This is the first time the chain will offer “a chicken strip that isn’t dipped in ranch sauce,” Jimmy Wang, director of culinary development at Panda Express, said in a press release.

Panda Express announced the release of a new Sichuan-style hot chicken which will be available at participating locations starting June 17, 2019.

The limited time entrée includes three crispy breaded all-white meat chicken strips hand-tossed in a Sichuan peppercorn glaze and sprinkled with a proprietary spice blend. And for those who can take the heat, there’s an extra spicy version available upon request.

Panda Express’s new spicy chicken strips essentially combine the tongue-tingling flavors of Sichuan peppercorns and Nashville Hot Chicken to deliver a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

The new Sichuan Hot Chicken, which clocks in at 400 calories and 23 grams of protein per serving, will be available at participating locations nationwide for about two months (or while supplies last).
