To celebrate the arrival of its new Toasted Baguettes, Panera will be giving away free sandwiches in some of the coldest cities in America from January 17 through January 22, 2023, if temperatures reach a certain level.
Here’s what you need to know for a chance to score a free Toasted Baguette sandwich:
Starting on Tuesday, if temperatures hit 32 degrees or below in Boston, Chicago, DC, Denver, New York City, or Washington, the bakery-cafe fast casual chain will drop a code for a Free Toasted Baguette sandwich on local digital billboards including NYC’s famous Times Square marquee. And, in Chicago, the promo code will be dropped in the actual snow.
Panera is also inviting new and existing fans to follow along on their social channels for real-time updates.
It’s worth noting, though, that the codes must be redeemed on the same day which you see the code by 8:00 PM local time. Also, take note that only 200 sandwiches will be given away for free in each city, with a limit of one redemption per person.
Made with the brand’s 10-inch baguettes, the new sandwiches are available in the following three varieties:
- Green Goddess Caprese Melt: Peppadew peppers, fresh mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese, arugula, basil, green goddess dressing, garlic aioli and salt & pepper served on the brand’s signature baguette.
- Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt: Pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, fontina/mozzarella cheese blend, and market sauce on the chain’s signature baguette.
- Smoky Buffalo Chicken Melt: Smoked chicken, melted American cheese, red onions and Buffalo sauce on served on a signature baguette.
