Panera looks to throw its hat into the chicken sandwich ring with a limited time test of two new Chef’s Chicken Sandwiches at select locations.
The new sandwiches, which are currently only available at participating locations in North and South Carolina, come in two varieties – Classic Chicken Sandwich with Aioli and Spicy Buffalo Chicken with Aioli – both of which are topped with a special garlic aioli sauce that’s made with anchovies.
The Classic Chicken Sandwich with Aioli consists of a seasoned and seared chicken breast with parmesan crisps, emerald greens and garlic aioli, all served on a brioche bun.
The Spicy Buffalo Chicken with Aioli features a seasoned and seared chicken breast with spicy Buffalo sauce, fried pickle chips and garlic aioli on a brioche bun.
Each sandwich goes for a suggested price of $8.99 and includes your choice of French Baguette, Chips, or Apple.
Panera’s new Chef’s Chicken Sandwiches are available at select test locations for a limited time.
