Papa John’s will soon add a new item to its menu called “Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles”.
And, as its name implies, it has chicken and waffles on it.
The new menu item comes by way of Papa John’s “Pick Our Next Pizza” survey.
Launched earlier this month, the survey also suggested other creative pizza recipes such as Pulled Pork Pizza, Huevos Rancheros Pizza, and the Un-Pizza, a pizza without dough.
According to Papa John’s, over 52,000 people voted, and the Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles pizza received most of the votes, of course.
The Huevos Rancheros Pizza came in a close second place.
The pizza chain has yet to announce the official release date of the new specialty pie. So we really don’t know when the pizza will be added to the menu.
