Pizza Hut today announced that it’s entering the handheld category with the debut of new Pizza Hut Melts at participating locations nationwide. Unlike traditional pizza, Melts were designed to provide more individual meal-time options, allowing fans to enjoy the taste of pizza without having to order a whole pie.
Each order of Melts features two slices of the chain’s signature Thin N’ Crispy crust packed with an abundance of toppings and cheese, folded over, and baked to melty perfection. To complement the new meal, Pizza Hut is serving up its new handheld Melts with a side of dipping sauce that pairs perfectly with the individual-sized dish.
Pizza Hut Melts carry a suggested price of $6.99 each and are available in the following four recipes:
- The Pepperoni Lover’s Melt comes served with marinara dipping sauce.
- The Buffalo Chicken Melt is served with a side of buffalo dipping sauce and ranch dipping sauce.
- The Chicken Bacon Parmesan Melt includes a side of ranch sauce for dipping.
- The Meat Lover’s Melt comes served with a side of marinara dipping sauce.
To celebrate the launch of its new Melts, Pizza Hut is empowering fans’ desire to “go solo” by awarding a few select lucky guests $100 if they sign their new “MDA” (Melts Disclosure Agreement) in which they agree that they will not share images of their Melts on their social media channels. To participate, just head to meltsarenotforsharing.com to sign the MDA and you’ll be eligible for a chance to win $100 (offer not valid in-restaurant).
You can find the new Pizza Hut Melts at participating locations nationwide beginning on October 18, 2022.

I am starting to think that Pizza Hut is beyond help. As a former unit manager back in the 90’s, I can honestly say their migration strategy towards deliver stores, seems to be feckless, as the quality of all of their pizza recipes have declined significantly. I honestly do not know if they are making cost cutting decisions that affect their recipes for pan, and thin crust pizza’s but the current crop, for lack of a better way to put it, is NOT worth ordering or going for.
Somewhere along the line, they seem to forget that PIZZA is their primary product. They need to refocus quickly as they are losing market share.
I have also noticed the quality of pizzas is blah and the crust no long has the buttery crispness and flavor it used to. I tried the new melts and the crust on those was as tasteless as cardboard. I emailed them but who knows if it helps. I would like to support them, since they are close to where I leave and reasonably priced, but they seem to be going downhill.
I’m from Prince George B.C. and my pizza melt is garbage. It’s over cooked and cold and not enough toppings inside. When you bite into it and you only get crust there’s something seriously wrong . Never ever again will I spend my hard earned money on this crap. Very very very DISAPPOINTED
