The Big New Yorker is finally making a comeback after a more than 20-year hiatus just in time for Super Bowl LVII.
According to a Pizza Hut manager that spoke to The Fast Food Post, the highly requested fan favorite item will be hitting menus nationwide at some point by the end of January or early February 2023. Maybe even sooner. However, an exact return date has yet to be announced.
From what I’m told, most locations already have, and I quote, “all the prep stuff we need for it,” and employee training to make sure staff is up to speed before launch starts on the first week of January 2023.
For those of you who might not remember, The Big New Yorker was a 16-inch extra large pizza covered with a sweet marinara sauce and your choice of toppings. At 30 percent larger than a large-sized pizza, it was (and still is) probably one of the biggest and most popular menu items the brand has ever made.
This time around, and according to one Pizza Hut employee, The Big New Yorker will feature large, hand tossed dough topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, double the amount of regular pepperoni and spicy cup pepperoni, and finished with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese and parsley.

I worked for Pizza Hut, the big New Yorker was one of my favorite LTOs. I highly doubt it will be as delicious this time around. PH changed their cheese and that will make it suck. I even loved making the bny, originally, it had big sandwich pepperoni slices around 4 inch diameter. delicious! Don’t forget BigFoot, the Sicilian, or chunky style toppings!
How about bringing back the chicken wings first.
The chicken wings didn’t go anywhere. We still proudly serve chicken wings.
