Pollo Campero is set to enter the chicken sandwich wars with the launch of its new Chicken Sandwich at participating locations on February 16, 2021.
Pollo Campero’s new Chicken Sandwich features a crispy fried chicken fillet layered with thick, sweet pickles on an all new buttery brioche bun.
A lighter option featuring the brand’s grilled chicken, prepared with Campero’s proprietary seasonings, will also be available.
Although it can be ordered a la carte, Pollo Campero fans can also pair the new sandwich with any one of the chain’s nine unique sides and fresh drinks.
For those unfamiliar with the brand’s history, this marks the first time that the chain will be offering its legendary fried or grilled chicken recipe in sandwich form.
According to a press release, the Pollo Campero team was meticulous with ingredient selection and went through “several iterations and many rounds of testing before launching it nationwide.”
You can find the new Chicken Sandwich at all U.S. Pollo Campero locations starting next week.
