Popeyes’ Iconic Cajun Rice is Back in Select Markets

The Fast Food Post has learned that Popeyes’ legendary, fan favorite Cajun Rice is back on the menu at select participating locations across the U.S.

More specifically, and according to the brand’s website, the iconic side dish is currently available in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. After being discontinued in 2021, this side dish made a temporary return to menus in 2022, alongside the Strawberry Cheesecake Fried Pie, to celebrate the fried chicken chain’s 50th birthday.

Popeyes’ Cajun Rice, also known as Rice Dressing, combines cajun and creole seasonings with onion, garlic, bell pepper, cayenne, and a mix of ground beef and ground chicken.

The popular side dish is available in regular and large sizes for $2.49 and $4.99, respectively, although prices may vary depending on location.
